On Nov. 18, 2010, the Goldwater Institute held its Annual Dinner with keynote speaker Gov. Chris Christie. Since he was swept into office, Gov. Christie has brought an honest and refreshing approach to politics in New Jersey. Known for his blunt, no-nonsense style, he is one of the country's leading advocates for less taxes and smaller government.
Gov. Christie spoke to the audience about taking on the New Jersey teacher unions and big spending liberals in the state house, and the need for an honest discussion about where our country is financially and the tough choices we need to make in order to fix it.
