How much funding does each Arizona public school district receive?
The answer is easier than ever to find. Below, select a student's school district and grade level, and any special needs he or she has, and see the results. The total funding for each student is based on Arizona Department of Education financial data from the Superintendent's Annual Financial Reports (SAFR), the Student Accountability Information System (SAIS), and the Uniform System of Financial Reporting (USFR).
An explanation of 2003-2004 school year student funding is available in a new Goldwater Institute policy brief, "Opening the Books: 2006 Annual Report on Arizona Public School Finance."
