Stacy Skankey is a Staff Attorney at the Goldwater Institute’s Scharf-North Center for Constitutional Litigation. She graduated from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University and is admitted to practice law in Arizona.
During law school, Stacy spent a semester as a Goldwater Institute Ronald Reagan Fellow. She also served as the editor-in-chief of the ASU Sports and Entertainment Law Journal and a visiting editor for the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy. Stacy received a certificate in Law, Science and Technology with a focus in Intellectual Property, the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Performance, and a Pro Bono Service Award with Highest Distinction. Prior to attending law school, Stacy earned her bachelor’s degree in English from Arizona State University.
Before joining Goldwater, Stacy clerked for the South Dakota Supreme Court. She also worked in private practice focusing on trust and estate litigation, as well as commercial litigation.
Stacy serves on the board of the Phoenix Lawyer’s Chapter of the Federalist Society. She enjoys wake surfing, enthusiastically spectating for her kids’ Ninja and husband’s triathlon, and spending time with her four children.
