Tom Hatten

Tom Hatten, an Arizona native, founded Mountainside Fitness Centers in 1991 in the Phoenix village of Ahwatukee. Over the past 32 years, he has grown the company into the largest locally owned fitness chain in Arizona and the 12^th-largest in the country—making Tom one of the largest employers in Arizona, with just over 1,700 employees. Tom serves as a board member for the Arizona Diamondbacks Charites and is a former Chair of Make a Wish Arizona, as well as a guest instructor for Arizona State University and the University of Arizona’s business schools and a former USA Today Entrepreneur of the Year recipient. Tom is a strong believer in our nation’s Constitution, and the freedoms and structure it brings to all our country’s citizens.
