Tony Napolitano

Tony Napolitano is a Senior Attorney at the Goldwater Institute. He has more than a decade of experience litigating complex constitutional, regulatory, and commercial matters in both government service and private practice. Tony has represented state agencies, advised executive leadership on high-stakes policy decisions, and managed litigation involving constitutional law, administrative law, and civil rights.

Prior to joining Goldwater, Tony served in the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, including in the Solicitor General’s Office and the Government Accountability and Special Litigation Unit. There, he handled expedited constitutional litigation, advised state officials on significant legal and policy issues, and defended Arizonans’ interests in federal regulatory challenges. He has also practiced in private law firms, where he represented Second Amendment groups, state agencies, and businesses in complex civil litigation and regulatory matters.

Tony earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He lives in Arizona with his wife and children and enjoys writing, travel, and spending time with his family.
