EXPOSED: New Video Reveals the Truth About Critical Race Theory

https://youtu.be/8_jjsq3oDvk

Is the American Dream only meant for some, but not for others? Are some Americans doomed to failure because of the color of their skin? Are successful black Americans “sellouts” or “passing” as white?

The answer, of course, is an emphatic “NO!”

But proponents of Critical Race Theory (CRT) would tell you “YES.”

CRT teaches that these offensive falsehoods are absolutely true – that America is racist at its core, and that the American Dream is a lie. On top of that, CRT ignores the progress our country has made toward liberty and justice for all. Worse still, children in K-12 public schools across the country are being indoctrinated with this dangerous ideology under the guise of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

>>> Watch our exclusive new video that exposes the truth behind Critical Race Theory. <<<

The Goldwater Institute is fighting back against this dangerous dogma. Our Sunlight in Learning law ensures that parents know exactly what is being taught in the classroom – and we’re working to pass that law in every state in the nation.

You can learn more about Critical Race Theory and the secret strategy to change America in a free virtual event on February 10, 2022, at 1 PM (MT) / 3 PM (ET). The event will feature Heritage Foundation Senior Fellow Mike Gonzalez and Goldwater Senior Fellow Jonathan Butcher. They’ll uncover the truth behind what’s actually happening in our country, the strategy to upend American values, and what can be done to stop it.

They’re Taking Notice: Goldwater’s Sunlight in Learning Law Makes National News

Even left-leaning legacy media outlets like The Washington Post and NBC News can’t help but notice that Goldwater is leading the national movement to ensure parents know what is being taught in the classroom. As the Post noted, even before stories about CRT in classrooms started dominating national headlines, Goldwater published a policy report in January 2020 calling for states to enact our Sunlight in Learning Act that requires public schools to post their learning materials online.

“Curriculum transparency means that parents should not have to wait until a student comes home with objectionable content in their backpack, nor have to submit costly public records requests, to learn what their student can expect to encounter in class,” Goldwater Director of Education Policy Matt Beienburg told the Post. Fast-forward two years, and a dozen state legislatures have proposed curriculum transparency bills. “Everybody should be able to rally around the fact that we shouldn’t be teaching something in secret,” Beienburg added to NBC.

And as we get ready for the start of National School Choice Week tomorrow, it’s important to remember that curriculum transparency and school choice go hand in hand. Parents deserve to be armed with the knowledge of what their children are learning—CRT or not—so they can exercise informed school choice and pick the schooling option that best meets their kids’ individual needs.

Publicly Funded League Uses Taxpayer Dollars Against Taxpayers

Arizonans are being forced to fund the League of Arizona Cities and Towns, an unaccountable, purportedly “private” organization that represents the interests of pro-government, partisan forces instead of the public, as Goldwater Director of National Litigation Jon Riches and Director of Government Affairs Jenna Bentley explain in a new report.

For example, while the League supports bills from both parties, during the 2021 regular legislative session, it opposed 44 Republican-sponsored bills and zero pieces of Democratic-sponsored legislation. The town of Gilbert uses tax dollars to fund its membership in the League, yet in 2021 alone, the League opposed five bills introduced by state lawmakers elected to represent Gilbert residents. Moreover, the League’s taxpayer-funded lobbyists vehemently opposed one of the most substantial tax relief reforms in Arizona’s history.

In their report, Riches and Bentley propose three reforms that would go a long way toward protecting Arizonans who fork over their hard-earned money to the government. It’s time for the legislature to stand up for the taxpaying public and against pro-big government, special interest lobbyists.
