This week, the U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments in a pair of cases addressing so-called Chevron deference—a rule that requires judges to basically concede to the legal theories adopted by government bureaucrats. The Goldwater Institute filed a brief urging the court to eliminate the Chevron rule—and in the latest episode of the National Constitution Center’s We the People podcast, I spoke about that brief and the larger constitutional implications with the Center’s Jeff Rosen and University of Michigan law professor Christopher Walker.
