The ongoing march toward big government has forced hardworking Americans to suffer the consequence of misguided progressive policies. But the Goldwater Institute knows that freedom works, and that the best way to empower Americans to succeed is by letting them live their lives the way they see fit.

That’s why we promise to continue standing up to the government’s heavy hand—by ensuring that Americans can keep more of their hard-earned money, that parents can make the decisions about their children’s schooling that best meet their unique needs, and that patients desperate for hope can try to save their own lives.

You know our recent record of victory—and the example we’re setting for the nation. In Arizona alone, we enacted America’s most expansive school choice reform, defeated the largest tax hike in state history and implemented the nation’s lowest flat tax rate, passed a first-in-the-nation Right to Try expansion that gives seriously ill Arizonans the ability to access the latest cutting-edge treatments, beat illegal government subsidies, and more. We are leading the nation in defending liberty, and we’re showing the nation how to win—with states around the country continuing to follow our lead.
